Authorities sought public help Tuesday to solve the killing of a man who was gunned down in Compton.
The shooting occurred about 5:20 p.m. Monday at Santa Fe Avenue and Peck Street, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The 27-year-old victim died at a hospital. His name was withheld, pending notification of his relatives.
“At this time, the investigators do not have any suspect information and are requesting help from the community,” sheriff’s Deputy Trina Schrader said.
