Police continued their search Saturday to find a 59-year-old man who suffers from an unspecified medical condition that may cause disorientation and who went missing in Arcadia.

Steven Ellington was last seen about 1 p.m. Tuesday in Arcadia, police reported. A Silver Alert has also been issued in connection with Ellington’s disappearance by the California Highway Patrol on behalf of Arcadia police.

Ellington is Black, 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white T-Shirt, light-colored pants, black shoes and a black baseball cap, police said.

Anyone with information on Ellington’s whereabouts was asked to call Arcadia police at 626-574-5123 or 911. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.

The Silver Alert program was established to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled and cognitively impaired individuals, according to the CHP.
