A 21-year-old man was fatally shot at a home in Lake Balboa Saturday morning, and a 22-year-old woman was in custody.
Martin Kovachev was a Northridge resident, according to coroner’s Lt. David Smith.
The shooting was reported at 2 a.m. in the 17500 block of Strathern Street, near Louise Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Officers arrested the 22-year-old woman in connection with the shooting, police said.
Further details, including a motive, were not immediately available. The shooting was not gang-related, police said.
