A man was shot and another was injured during a robbery at a Glendale residence, and the suspects were at large Tuesday.
Officers went to the 2000 block of Broadview Avenue about 9:45 p.m. Monday on a shots-fired call, said Glendale Sgt. Christian Hauptmann.
“Upon arrival, officers located one adult male suffering from a gunshot wound and another adult male who had been struck on the head with a handgun,” Hauptmann said. “Both victims were treated and are in stable condition.”
No suspect descriptions were released by police, who said the preliminary investigation “indicates the victims appeared to have been specifically targeted for a robbery.” The victims’ names were withheld.
Anyone with information on the case was urged to call police at 818-548-4911, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS. Tipsters may also go to the website www.lacrimestoppers.org.
