The Riverside County coroner’s office Saturday named a 30-year-old man who was killed in a Moreno Valley shooting that also injured two others.
Deputies responded to a shooting call at around 9:45 p.m. Thursday in the 26000 block of Nublado Court, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
One of the shooting victims, Giovannie Saucedo of Moreno Valley, was taken to Riverside University Health System Medical Center, where he died of his injuries a few hours later, the coroner’s office said.
A second victim, also 30 years old, was taken to a hospital by paramedics and was expected to survive, Sgt. Steve Brosche said.
Authorities later learned that a 27-year-old man had also been shot and was taken to a hospital by witnesses before first responders arrived. He was expected to survive as well.
Sheriff’s officials did not provide details about what led up to the shooting and said the shooter fled the scene before deputies arrived.
