A pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit-and-run vehicle in Pasadena Friday evening.
The crash occurred near the intersection of Orange Grove Boulevard and Marengo Avenue about 9 p.m., according to the Pasadena Police Department.
A description of the suspect vehicle was not immediately available.
The name of the victim was not disclosed.
The fatal crash occurred about one block north of the fatal shooting of a man in the area of Marengo Avenue and Parke Street about 8:10 p.m.
