Two people died Friday in Lancaster, and homicide detectives were sent to the scene.
The deaths were reported about 8 a.m. in the 45000 block of Century Circle, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, paramedics went to the location on a report of a possible natural gas leak.
Information was not immediately available on the identities of the people who died — described only by the coroner’s office as a male and a female — or on their cause of death.
The pair died at the scene, the sheriff’s department reported.
