A 31-year-old man was fatally shot Tuesday afternoon in South Los Angeles, and a second victim was hospitalized in critical condition.
The shooting occurred about 5 p.m. in the 5300 block of 10th Avenue, near West 52nd Street, according to Officer Tony Im of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Both victims were taken to a hospital, where one died, Im said. The second victim is in critical condition.
The victims’ names were not released, and no suspect information was immediately available.
