A man and woman sitting in a car in the Westlake District were wounded in a shooting Wednesday morning.
Officers responded at about 1:15 a.m. to an area near Wilshire Boulevard and Union Drive, where the two victims were located and taken to a hospital in unknown condition, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victims tried to drive away after the shooting and crashed into a parked vehicle, CBS2 reported.
A description of the shooter or shooters and a motive for the shooting were not immediately disclosed.
