A child was hospitalized in critical condition Saturday morning with injuries sustained in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Quartz Hill that killed one person.
The crash occurred at 10:30 p.m. Friday near the intersection of 40th Street West and Avenue L, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Video from the scene showed the child being rushed to a hospital in a department SUV and the silver sedan overturned in the parking lot of a Chase Bank branch.
The age of the child and name of the victim were not disclosed.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
