A man was wounded Sunday evening in a shooting in the Hyde Park area of Los Angeles.

The shooting occurred at 7:30 p.m. at 7106 11th Avenue, according to a dispatcher at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.

Two males shot the 50-year-old victim and fled the scene on foot, she said.

The victim was taken to a hospital by paramedics and had stable vital signs, the dispatcher said.
