A 54-year-old suspected molester has been charged with sexually assaulting three girls in Anaheim he is related to, dating back to 2002.

Authorities did not disclose how the suspect and the girls are related. But his arraignment was set Tuesday for Feb. 18.

One alleged victim came forward to police Jan. 20. Armando Estrada Gomez was arrested Friday, according to Anaheim Police Department Sgt. Shane Carringer.

One girl was molested when she was younger than 10 and the molestation of the two other girls started sometime before they were 13, Carringer said.

Two of the alleged victims are now adults, Carringer said.

Gomez was charged with one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child, one count of sexual penetration by foreign object of a victim younger than 16, two counts of lewd or lascivious acts with a minor younger than 14, one count of lewd or lascivious acts with a minor and one count of lewd act on a child 14 or 15, all felonies, according to court records.

Gomez did not enter a plea Tuesday at his arraignment, which was rescheduled for Feb. 18.
