Police Monday were seeking a driver accused in a Christmas night hit-and-run crash that seriously injured two teenagers in Hemet.
The crash occurred about 9 p.m. on Sanderson Avenue near Menlo Avenue, said Sgt. Dan Reinbolt with the Hemet Police Department.
The suspect’s vehicle was described as a gray pickup truck — possibly a Toyota Tundra or one similar-looking — with damage to its right front corner.
“Hemet Police Traffic investigators have been searching for the suspect in this case and are asking for the public’s help in locating video or evidence which may lead to the vehicle and/or driver,” Reinbolt said.
Police asked anyone who was in the area Christmas night to call the department’s traffic division at 951-765-3725.
