A suspect who stole a woman’s purse in a Culver City neighborhood was being sought Thursday, along with the getaway driver who helped him escape.
The robbery occurred about 3:20 p.m. Tuesday in the 4100 block of Minerva Avenue, where the suspect walked up to the woman, grabbed her purse and ran off, according to Culver City police. The victim’s name was not disclosed.
In home surveillance camera footage released by police, the victim can be heard repeatedly yelling “Oh no!” as the suspect grabbed her belongings and fled down the street.
Police said he ran to a black sedan, possibly a Nissan Altima, which was driven by a female suspect.
