Firefighters have stopped the progress of a brush fire that charred about three acres Tuesday evening near the Foothill (210) Freeway in Irwindale.
Firefighters were dispatched at 9:04 p.m. to the area of Irwindale Boulevard and the Foothill Freeway, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.
Firefighters stopped the progress of the fire at 10:29 p.m. A projected knockdown time has not been announced.
