A woman was shot to death in Pomona Saturday morning.
The shooting was reported about 10 a.m. in the 800 block of West Orange Grove Avenue, according to Pomona police Sgt. Edgard Padilla.
“Upon arrival, officers located the victim down,” Padilla said. “L.A. County Fire personnel treated the victim at the scene but she succumbed to her injuries.”
Homicide detectives began a crime scene investigation, he said.
The woman’s name was not released pending notification of relatives.
