A 10-year-old boy from Indio was reported missing Friday evening.
Emmanuel Salinas was last seen at about 6 p.m. at his home in that 5900 block of Platte Street, near Avenue 46 and James Madison Elementary School, according to an Indio Police Department statement. Authorities believe he left his home on foot traveling in an unknown direction.
Emmanuel is Hispanic, 4 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs 105 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey Hurley T-shirt, blue shorts and black Adidas shoes.
