The Long Beach Police Department Saturday asked for the public’s help to find a man who may become disoriented.
John Morris Popoff, 65, was last seen at 5:30 a.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of Cameron Street, where he left for a run, police said. He was visiting from out of town, suffers from medical conditions and could become disoriented.
Popoff is described as white, 5 feet, 11 inches tall, 140 to 160 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He was wearing glasses, a blue “Retired Navy” hat, “USA” T-shirt, gray sweater, black shorts, knee-high white socks and orange-and-black shoes.
He does not know local addresses or phone numbers but will talk to others and may request help, police said.
