A Silver Alert was issued Thursday for a 68-year-old woman who was last seen in San Fernando.
Maria Johnson was last seen at about 2 p.m. Thursday, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the alert on behalf of the San Fernando Police Department.
Johnson is Black, 5 feet tall and weighs 100 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes, the CHP said. She was last seen wearing a black and white checkered sweater and a tan skirt.
Anyone who sees Johnson was asked to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals, according to the CHP.
