A 27-year-old man was hospitalized in critical condition Sunday morning after he was shot in the Florence area of Los Angeles.
The shooting was reported just before 1 a.m. in the 300 block of West 61st Street, according to a dispatcher in the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
The suspect fled after the shooting, she said.
It was not known if the shooting was gang-related, the dispatcher said.
