Irwindale police Saturday say they arrested a 41-year-old man who was found napping in a Jeep vehicle reported stolen in Arizona.
Jason Scott Ferguson was found sleeping in a 2002 Jeep Liberty and taken into custody Friday night, shortly before midnight, police said. It was unclear where the vehicle was parked.
Police discovered Ferguson was on his way to Malibu, but it was not immediately disclosed where he resides.
He was being held without bail, as authorities in Arizona will likely extradite him back to the state.
