A hit-and-run crash left one person dead and a second seriously hurt in Huntington Beach Sunday evening.
The crash happened about 8:55 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway and temporarily closed the northbound lanes of Pacific Coast Highway between Beach Boulevard and Newland Street, said Huntington Beach police spokeswoman Jennifer Carey.
Police are looking at a possible suspect, Carey said.
There was no immediate word on the genders or ages of the victims. The name of the deceased will be withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
