One person is dead and two are in critical condition Saturday after a jeep rolled down a ravine in La Sierra Hills.
Fire crews responded at 8:25 p.m. Friday to Yearling Street and Cadbury Drive and found three people at the bottom of an embankment, said Riverside Fire Department Deputy Chief Michael Staley.
Firefighters and paramedics hiked half a mile through rough terrain to rescue the victims and found one deceased and still trapped inside the Jeep and two people in critical condition outside the vehicle, Staley said.
The two in critical condition were taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
The crash is under investigation.
