Authorities sought public help to find a woman who went missing Thursday in the Lancaster area.
Christie Louise Velleca, 39, was last seen about 8:40 a.m. Thursday in the 400 block of East Avenue I, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Velleca is white, 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds, and has red hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sports bra and green scrub pants.
“Ms. Velleca suffers from depression,” a sheriff’s statement said.
