A driver not wearing his seatbelt was killed when his vehicle overturned Sunday on the Harbor (110) Freeway in Carson.
The crash on the southbound freeway, just south of 228th Street, occurred at about 4:20 a.m., the California Highway Patrol reported.
The victim was driving a 2004 GMC in the number four lane of the southbound freeway when he allowed the vehicle to veer to the left, where it struck the concrete center divider wall, the CHP said.
The vehicle overturned, skidding in a southerly direction. It was not immediately known if speed, drugs or alcohol were factors in the fatal crash.
A representative from the Los Angeles County coroner’s office was called to the location at about 5:20 a.m.
