Authorities asked for public help Wednesday in locating a 44-year-old man with schizophrenia who went missing in the South Gate area last week.
Efrain Ulysses Hernandez was last seen about 12:30 p.m. Aug. 25 at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Firestone Boulevard, according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department statement.
Hernandez is Hispanic, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds, with green eyes, short brown hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans, and had a dark ring on his right hand.
