Police Monday were seeking the public’s help to identify the man who fatally stabbed a 25-year-old man during an argument at an apartment complex in Woodland Hills.
Los Angeles Police Department officers were called at about 2 a.m. Sunday to the apartment in the 22100 block of Erwin Street, near Topanga Canyon Boulevard, on reports of the stabbing and found Christopher Westley Pearson wounded at the scene, according to a department statement.
Pearson was taken to a hospital by paramedics, where he died of his injuries.
LAPD detectives determined Pearson was involved in a dispute with the suspect before the stabbing, though the cause of the dispute was unknown.
No suspect description was available.
Anyone with information on the stabbing was asked to call the LAPD Valley Bureau Homicide at 818-374-9550. Calls made during non-business hours or on weekends can be directed to 877-527-3247.
