A fire hydrant was hit by a vehicle Tuesday in the West Los Angeles area, sending up a geyser at least 50 feet in the air, authorities said.
The crash was reported late Tuesday morning in the 2100 block of Beverly Glen Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The driver remained at the scene and was interviewed by officers, and utility crews were notified, police said.
No injuries were reported, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
