A 23-year-old man is behind bars Wednesday for allegedly stealing packages from a residence in Lake Elsinore.
Daniel Rendon was arrested Monday on suspicion of committing a porch package robbery in the 29000 block of Outrigger Street, according to Sgt. Jeff Reese of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies received a report of the robbery on Friday and the subsequent investigation revealed Rendon to be a prime suspect, according to Reese.
Rendon was booked into the Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta on suspicion of numerous theft charges, where he remained Wednesday on $10,000 bail.
He was scheduled to make his initial appearance at the Southwest Justice Center on Wednesday, according to jail records.
