One person was found shot at a Huntington Beach apartment, authorities said Saturday.
At 10:09 p.m. Saturday, Huntington Beach police issued an advisory, saying, “Due to ongoing investigation, we are asking the public to avoid the 17000 block of Koledo (Lane) & the surrounding area.”
The tweet added that there was no current public safety threat in the area.
At 10:50 p.m., police spokeswoman Jennifer Carey told City News Service that officers had located a person suffering from a gunshot wound and that “We are still early on in the investigation and do not have anything further to add at this time.”
There was no indication whether the gunshot victim was alive or deceased, and no further description of the person’s identity.
