Authorities sought information from the public Monday on the fatal shooting of a 55-year-old man in Mead Valley.
Gary Elmore of Mead Valley was shot to death Thursday in the area of Oleo Ranch Road and Smoketree Street, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Patrol deputies were called to the location about 10:30 a.m. Thursday to investigate reports of shots fired and discovered Elmore’s body, sheriff’s Sgt. Richard Carroll said.
No one was arrested, and detectives did not immediately identify any potential suspects.
