Fire crews Wednesday evening were fighting a two-alarm blaze at the Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in Downey.
Downey Fire Department firefighters were called about 6:30 p.m. after the fire broke out in an abandoned building, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Los Angeles County and Compton fire department firefighters were called to the scene to assist, and crews from the three departments were still battling the blaze as of about 8 p.m.
