Two men, one armed with a handgun, attempted to rob a third man Friday in Beverly Hills.
Beverly Hills police responded around 3:09 p.m. to the 200 block of South Beverly Drive, between Wilshire and Olympic boulevards, according to the department.
Initially, the officers thought a carjacking was taking place. They later determined it was an attempted robbery, the department reported.
No one was injured and the two suspects fled the area, police said.
No suspect descriptions were immediately available.
