A pedestrian was killed Friday in a hit-and-run crash in the Baldwin Hills area, and police sought public help to find the motorist.
The man died at the scene of his injury, which occurred about 1:30 a.m. at Crenshaw and Obama boulevards, the Los Angeles Police Department reported. Authorities withheld his name, pending notification of his relatives.
No description was available of the hit-and-run vehicle. Anyone with information on the case was urged to call 877-LAPD-247.
