A man was struck and killed by a vehicle in Fullerton Tuesday evening.
The collision was reported just after 6:35 p.m. in the area of 2501 E. Chapman Ave., near California State Fullerton, said Fullerton Police Department Lt. Tony Bogart.
The man was taken to a hospital, where he died of his injuries. His name was withheld pending notification of his next of kin, and it was not immediately known if he was affiliated with the university.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and was cooperating with police, Bogart said. Drugs, alcohol and speed were not determined to be a factor in the collision.
