Orange County sheriff’s investigators asked for the public’s help Wednesday identifying more possible victims of a church volunteer charged with molesting a boy in 1997.
Terry Lyn Myers, 65, of Garden Grove, was charged last week with two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child — sodomy, two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child — oral copulation with force or fear and a count of aggravated sexual assault of a child with a foreign object, all felonies.
Myers, who is being held on $1 million bail, is scheduled to be arraigned March 23 in the jail courtroom in Santa Ana.
Myers volunteered at multiple churches in Orange County, including Grace Community Church, formerly known as Nutwood Church in Garden Grove from 1995-2013, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
Since 2013, Myers volunteered at MidCities Baptist Church in Westminster, deputies said.
