Firefighters searched the area off Woolsey Canyon Road in the Chatsworth Reservoir area early Monday morning after a vehicle was found over the side of the road but they could not find a crash victim.
The search began about 1:40 a.m. on Woolsey Canyon Road near Valley Circle Boulevard, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Michael Pittman.
Helicopters from LACo and Los Angeles fire departments searched from above and firefighters from both agencies searched the canyon area, Pittman said.
All fire units cleared the scene at 3:06 a.m.
