A man was stabbed to death near the Metro A Line Firestone Station.
The stabbing was reported about 6:45 p.m. in the 8600 block of Maie Avenue, near Firestone Boulevard, in the unincorporated Florence-Firestone area, according to Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Deputy Miguel Meza.
The man taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name was withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
No suspect description was provided.
