An 11-year-old girl who went missing Saturday morning in Compton has been located, authorities said.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department did not disclose where or when Melanie Ortiz was located.
Ortiz had last been seen at about 1 a.m. Saturday in the 800 block of West 134th Street, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
