Authorities sought the public’s help to find a man who walked away from his care facility in Long Beach Friday and who may need his medications.

David Quiroz, 48, was last seen about 6:45 a.m. near the facility in the 1000 block of Walnut Avenue, the Long Beach Police Department reported.

Quiroz is Hispanic, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 210 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a burgundy hoodie, dark blue jean shorts, slip-on sandals with a “mix-colored flower print,” and a white protective face mask, police said.

“Quiroz suffers from medical conditions and may easily become disoriented,” police said. “He left on foot and likes to frequent local convenience stores.”

Quiroz has been reported missing previously, and has been located in the surrounding area, police said.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts was urged to call the LBPD Missing Persons office 562-570-7246, police dispatch at 562-435-6711, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
