Firefighters expect to wrap up work on a three-alarm vegetation fire Tuesday in the Anza Narrows Park in the Santa Ana River Bottom.

The Riverside Fire Department responded to the fire at around 10 p.m. Monday, and have received help from county fire crews.

The three-acre fire was contained, with no injuries or property damage reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Bruce Vanderhorst, spokesman for the Riverside Fire Department, said crews expected to wrap up by 5 p.m. Tuesday.
