A 74-year-old man suffering from medical conditions who went missing in Long Beach was located Saturday.
The California Highway Patrol announced Thomas Edward Morgan was located, deactivating the Silver Alert it issued to help Long Beach police located the man considered at-risk because he could be easily disoriented.
No details were released about where or when he was located.
Morgan was previously last seen at about 4 p.m. Friday near the smoking area of his care facility in the 3000 block of Cedar Avenue, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
A Silver Alert is issued when an elderly, developmentally or cognitively impaired person is missing and determined to be at-risk to assist in locating them.
