Burbank police Tuesday arrested a person who barricaded in a residence following a family dispute.
Officers went to the 100 block of South Sparks Street late Tuesday morning on a report of the dispute, the Burbank Police Department reported.
According to police, a family member refused to come out of the building, and a standoff ensued. Police cordoned off the area to vehicles and pedestrians, but said there was no threat to the public.
The BPD announced about 2:05 p.m. that the suspect had been taken into custody. Streets in the area were reopened to the public, but officers remained in the area to conduct an investigation into the dispute.
