Riverside County Firefighters contained a grass fire Sunday in Temecula that scorched an estimated five acres of grass.
The so-called Meadows Fire ignited near Meadows and Temecula parkways just after 4 p.m., according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The fire was fully contained as of 7:15 p.m., the department reported.
No injuries were reported and structures were threatened.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
