A man was fatally stabbed in Pacoima, and authorities Tuesday sought the public’s help to find the killer.

Officers were sent to the 11500 block of Norris Avenue at about 8:40 p.m. Monday, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

“The officers observed the victim on the ground next to his vehicle with multiple wounds,” police said in a statement.

Paramedics took the man to a hospital, where he died. His name was withheld, pending notification of his relatives.

The suspect was described only as a man about 20-30 years of age who wore dark clothing.

Anyone with information on the crime was urged to call the LAPD Valley Bureau homicide office at 818-374-9550, or 877-LAPD-247. Tipsters may also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
