One of four teens is expected to face felony charges Friday for allegedly breaking into and robbing a cannabis business in Blythe.
Tomas Calderon, 18, was booked into Blythe Jail Wednesday morning on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy and felony vandalism along with 18-year-old Agustin Hernandez, according to the Blythe Police Department.
They were both being held on $10,000 bail, but Hernandez posted bail on Wednesday.
Police did not release the names of the other two suspects because they are juveniles.
Officers responded at around 3 a.m. Wednesday to an activated burglary alarm at a licensed commercial cannabis business in the 1800 block of East Hobsonway in Blythe, police said.
Upon arrival, they found that the front glass door of the business was smashed and the store manager indicated that merchandise was taken, according to police.
The fours suspects were found within 30 minutes after officers watched a surveillance video. Officers allegedly found evidence connecting them to the burglary.
