Authorities Wednesday continued their efforts to find two men wanted in a shooting at a house party in an unincorporated area near Covina that left two men dead and two others injured.
Deputies sent to the 17000 block of East Bellbrook Street at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday found 20-year-old Ronnie Benitez of Covina dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Paramedics rushed three other men to hospitals, where one was later pronounced dead. The identity of the other fatally wounded man was not released.
“Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting of four males, two of them deceased,” the sheriff’s department said in a statement Wednesday.
“It has been determined there were two male adult suspects, one of them was identified as 19-year-old Joel Daniel Garcia,” the statement said. “The second suspect has not been identified. Both suspects are considered armed and dangerous.”
Authorities released a photo of Garcia, who is 6-feet-1 inch tall, weighs 160 pounds and has brown hair and eyes.
