One man is dead and another is in custody after sheriff’s Homicide detectives responded to a death investigation in Whittier.
The detectives were sent to the 16100 block of Marlington Drive around 8:45 p.m., according to Lt. Hugo Reynaga of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
A man, whose name was withheld, was pronounced dead at the scene. It was unclear how he died.
Homicide detectives took a man into custody, but did not provide any further details.
