Fire damaged a house in Koreatown Friday, but no one was hurt.
Firefighters sent to the 800 block of South Norton Avenue at 11:20 a.m. extinguished the flames in the two-story building in 18 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
“Two residents and their family canines were evaluated for smoke inhalation as a precaution, but were found to be in good health and further care was not needed,” the LAFD said in a statement.
Investigators were seeking the cause of the fire, which damaged the kitchen area.
