Two teens were stabbed Wednesday near Van Nuys High School, and a search was continuing for suspects.

The victims’ condition was not immediately known, although both were reported to be conscious while they were being treated at the scene. Police told reporters at the scene that one of them was stabbed in the upper body.

A group of people was seen running from the scene.

The stabbing was reported around 4:20 p.m. near Cedros Avenue and Kittridge Street.

There was no immediate word on what led to the stabbings, or whether the teens were connected to the high school.
